Fuller Landau team • April 26, 2017

We did it again! For the eleventh time, Fuller Landau has once again been named one of the “Best Workplaces in Canada” by the Great Place to Work® Institute and The Globe and Mail. With over 400 companies nominated to this year’s list, and over 60,000 people participating in the survey nationwide, Fuller Landau is thrilled to be ranked #17 on the list!

“This is a huge accomplishment for Fuller Landau,” explains Michael Stoyan, Partner and member of the firm’s Growth Committee. “It’s also one of the biggest honours we could hope to receive, as the award is so dependent on the ratings and feedback submitted by our employees. It’s a vote of confidence from the people who matter most. Our team is our biggest asset and the driving force behind our continued success.”

So, What Makes Fuller Landau Such a Great Place to Work?

With a robust and continually evolving “People Program” designed to anticipate the needs of our growing team, Fuller Landau offers a formal mentoring program, flexible work arrangements, challenging assignments, charitable involvement, competitive compensation, advancement opportunities, ongoing training, a casual dress-code, and a dynamic workplace culture that promotes collaboration, inclusion, and fellowship.

“We are so proud to make the list once again,” says Jill Daiter, Director of HR. “It shows that we’re doing a lot of things right, and it gives us the incentive to do more. A happy and engaged workforce delivers exceptional service, and an investment in our team is an investment in our clients.”

The 2017 Best Workplaces in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute Canada. The competition process is based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from confidential employee survey results; the remaining one-third of the score comes from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture, including an evaluation of HR policies and procedures. This offers a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective, and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to the five trust-building dimensions of a great workplace: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.

It’s what makes this study so credible: the primary determinant used in selecting winners is an employee survey. There’s only one way to get on the list – and that’s if your employees put you there.
