A tribute to Howard Joffe
Howard Joffe, former Managing Partner of Fuller Landau, and a respected leader in the accounting profession, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
Howard was a longtime partner at Fuller Landau, serving as Managing Partner for 10 years. As leader of the firm, he expanded service offerings, nurtured exceptionally strong client relationships, and built a solid foundation for future growth.
Throughout a distinguished career spanning close to 70 years, Howard was known for his sharp intellect and for serving his clients with the highest level of trust and integrity. Assisting them with their business and personal issues was as important to him as finding solutions to technical problems. Beyond professional accomplishments, he was a dedicated mentor who took pride in developing future leaders within the firm, including his son, Brian, a Partner at Fuller Landau. Howard was a member of CPA Ontario and the Institute of Chartered Accountants, South Africa.
After retiring from the partnership, Howard remained a trusted advisor and friend to the firm. He took great satisfaction in seeing the team’s continued success and the enduring relationships built with clients and the community.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Howard’s family, friends, clients, and former colleagues. Howard leaves behind a legacy of leadership, integrity, and service that will continue to influence Fuller Landau.
