Fuller Landau named once again as one of the Best Workplaces™ for women!
Following closely on the heels of International Women’s Day, Fuller Landau is excited to announce that the firm has been recognized as one of The Best Workplaces™ for Women in 2019!
“This is an especially meaningful award for us,” notes Jill Daiter, Director of Human Resources for the firm. “We’ve made a concerted effort at Fuller Landau to ensure the fair treatment and advancement of women on our team. This award really validates our efforts.”
Fuller Landau received this honour after a thorough and independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work®. The list of Best Workplaces™ for Women is based on direct and anonymous feedback from employees of the hundreds of organizations that were surveyed. In addition to several other criteria – including a review of each applicant’s programs and practices – at least 90% of an organization’s employees must agree that their workplace is safe, and people are treated fairly regardless of their gender, in order to be considered for this certification.
Managing Partner Mike Stoyan is proud of this accomplishment, and rightfully so. “We routinely seek feedback from our team – both in person and anonymously – to learn how we can improve. Many of our efforts in this area came from the direct feedback we received. We listened, and then we implemented.”
In addition to the firm’s overall commitment to gender equity, Fuller Landau offers flexible hours, options for working remotely, and internal training and mentorship opportunities. The firm also has an active Diversity & Inclusion Committee with a mandate, among other things, to increase awareness and host initiatives that ensure women are well-represented across all levels of the firm. To date, the firm has offered panel discussions and presentations on career advancement, work/life balance, and female leadership.
“This cannot and will not be a one-time focus,” emphasizes Jill. “We are continuously on the lookout for new ways to ensure our workplace is supportive and empowering for women.”
