Fuller Landau is excited to announce the launch of a new Consumer Insolvency division, under the leadership of Tim Geary, Licensed Insolvency Trustee, with over 25 years of expertise.

The Fuller Landau Group Inc. (a subsidiary of Fuller Landau LLP) has acquired Geary & Company Limited, a reputable and well known consumer insolvency practice that has been an invaluable resource to thousands of people in need of solutions for managing their debt.

Individuals who are in the midst of debt problems are often overcome with anxiety, stress, and fear,” explains Ken Pearl, Senior Vice President at The Fuller Landau Group Inc. “It’s an overwhelming experience, and they need a knowledgeable and skilled advisor to help them resolve their financial troubles. Consumer debt levels are at an all-time high, and we are well equipped to step in and help – particularly with the years of experience and expertise brought to the team by Tim Geary.

Individuals with financial difficulties may assume that bankruptcy is their only option. However, alternative solutions like consumer proposals, credit counselling or debt consolidation may be the answer, and that’s where the expertise of a Licensed Insolvency Trustee is needed.

Our role as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee is to help our clients regain control of their life, by listening and understanding their situation, and discussing how the various options will affect them” says Tim Geary. “As a sole practitioner for many years, I take my commitment to providing personalized client service very seriously, and it is important for me to have the capacity to help each client accordingly. By joining the team at Fuller Landau, we broaden our access to resources and expertise, and our clients continue to benefit from our personal and attentive service.”

Tim Geary and his professional staff will continue to operate out of their existing office at 1240 Bay Street, as Fuller Landau’s consumer bankruptcy practice, until the New Year. They will then relocate to Fuller Landau’s office building at 151 Bloor Street West.

At Fuller Landau, we are constantly on the lookout for opportunities to grow strategically and add value to our clients,” explains David Filice, Senior Vice President at The Fuller Landau Group Inc. “We’ve had a thriving and highly-regarded corporate insolvency practice for many years. We look forward to expanding our service offering and responding to market demand with this new practice catering to personal insolvencies, and Tim Geary is the ideal advisor to lead the charge.”
