Phil is a Chartered Professional Accountant. Prior to joining Fuller Landau, he was with a leading wealth management investment counselling firm, helping high net worth clients grow and preserve their wealth. His ability to meet client needs and objectives was recognized through a prestigious client service award.
Earlier in his career, Phil was a partner in his own local Toronto firm which had a specific expertise in Canadian and U.S. personal tax planning, as well as in reorganizing corporate groups for small businesses, with the goal of meeting shareholder expectations in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Whether it was the safeguarding of assets and future revenue streams, the minimizing of personal and corporate income taxes, or estate planning for succession purposes, Phil’s experience gives him the ability to structure and implement any organizational proposal to suit each client’s individual needs. After receiving his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary in 1980, Phil received his CA designation in 1984 from Alberta, and Ontario in 1987.
Phil is an active board member of the Maple Downs Golf Club and lends his support to various charities such as Holy Blossom Temple, Israel Cancer Research Foundation and Sick Kids Hospital
